This year the task of filing the taxes fell to a new volunteer who was not properly informed of deadlines. Once the deadlines was realized the filing was further delayed as our board discussed and researched which form to file. We are choosing to file the long form, because it may open up grant or funding opportunities for us, where the EZ may not. We have filed it as promptly as was possible considing the situation.
