A large percentage of the individuals participating in the day programs are permanent residents of the 132 IRAs noted above. The revenue and expenses for this program totaled $1,124,420 and $1,179,163, respectively.Additionally, Family Support Services programs provide respite for families with disabled children and adults as well as recreational opportunities for these disabled individuals. The expenses for family services programs were $174,772 for the year 2012.Family Support Services revenue of $164,280 were included in Government Grant revenue. Note that there was $120,653 of prior year income included in other revenue. Finally AHRC-Nassau charges management fees in the amount of $2,949,403 to organizations for which it provides services. Management services include but are not limited to, executive leadership, program operations management, corporate compliance, administrative support services, information technology, purchasing, SchJ_P01_S00_L04 Schedule J, Part I, Line 4 The Executive Director, the two Associate Executive Directors and Chief Financial Officer received contribution to a 457(F) retirement plan in year 2012. Mr. Michael Mascari, the Agency's Executive Director, has participated in a non-qualified supplemental retirement plan. The plan was designed to make up for the inadequacy of the retirement plan (e.g., it did not recognize his total compensation) and for retention. The plan was based upon total service of 25 years and required Mr. Mascari to be an employee of the Agency on his 70th birthday in order to receive his account. Mr. Mascari would have forfeited the entire balance if he left early. The entirety of Mr. Mascari's account ($746,939) was distributed in 2012 as a result of his attainment of age 70 while still employed. This distribution represents amounts contributed in many prior years; all such contributions in prior years were disclosed on prior Forms 990.
