These activities including enforcement, adjudication, prosecution, and supervision efforts designed to target, apprehend, and incapacitate violent street criminals who terrorize neighborhoods and account for a disproportionate percentage of criminal activity. The primary partner in law enforcement is the northeast patrol division of the Dallas Police Department (DPD) and 25 neighborhood crime watch groups. Outcomes: FRI has seen a 27% reduction in overall crime and a 71% decrease in violent crime in five years.
