The College's Upward Bound program served approximately 50 high school students. The College's Success Program served approximately 200 students. At Commencement in May of 2012, approximately 115 degrees were conferred. Institutional financial aid, funded both with College resources and temporarily restricted contributins, was awarded to over 400 students. Historic preservation: With significant help from individuals and foundations, the College made great strides in the on-going effort to maintain and preserve the Everett mansion and surroundings. After the CFO's/COO's resignation, the College reported serval suspicious transactions carried out the the CFO/COO the Federal Bureau of Investigation, after which the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont filed a "Verified Complaint of Forfeiture" in the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont on February 21, 2013, to seize specified property owned or controlled by the former CFO/COO. The College has since engaged external forensic accountants to review the College's financial records, and internal control procedures thave been reviewed and corrected. They also expect insurance to cover a substantial amount of the funds taken.
