NSIC was first held in 2007 and has grown into a significant event where universities from North America submit their homeland security centric projects to a panel of judges and compete for cash awards as granted by the Organization. The 2012 NSIC was held April 27, 2012, on the campus of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. 2199 80500 Peak Military Care Network: In June 2012, the Organization reached an agreement with the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments to establish and operate the Peak Military Care Network (PMCN) which will provide services for military members, families, and veterans in the Pikes Peak Region.
