The Foundation conducts limited inquiry concerning the grant recipent (Panzi Hospital), which includes the scope of the project, the managerial team, history, experience, need and outcome. The grantee is required to keep records of expenditures, plans, and schedule of events, and are expected to make records available to Panzi Foundation at reasonable times and to prohibit grant funds from being used to undertake any non-exempt activity. Panzi Foundation also has direct access to the Director of Programs (Susanne Allden) and the Medical Director of Panzi Hospital (Dr. Denis Mukwege). All memorandums, understandings, reports that Panzi Foundation receives are kept at the Foundation offices. Additionaly, photo digital images of activity are provided to Panzi Foundation on a regular basis.
