Our service has progressively increased every year. For instance, our statistics on the number of meals provided by BOLD are as follows.2009 5 sites 20000 meals2010 15 sites 49000 meals2011 27 sites 80000 meals2012 41 sites 180000 meals 2013 58 sites 158965 meals in GA and 32 sites 137670 meals in CA These statistics are a reflection of services provided and clients served during the summer months. SFSP is a nutrition program providing meals to needy children who normally receive free or reduced meals during the school year. During the summer months many children still need to receive nutritional meals in order to stay healthy and have a great start to the next school year. These statistics are a reflection of services provided and clients served during the summer months. The objective of the SFSP is to serve needy children 18 years and younger with nutritious meals during the summer months when school is out. The long term goal of BOLD Ministries is to not only serve needy children during the summer months, but to also serve at-risk children during the school year. We are currently seeking application approval from the State of Georgia as a year-round sponsor of Georgias nutrition programs. The SFSP allows BOLD Ministries the opportunity to be of service in our local community as well as neighboring communities in other counties in the Atlanta Metro area. We are so thankful for the opportunity to not only feed Georgias kids but also to provide employment to college students during the summer months as well as several adults who are unemployed.
