The Organization is not aware of any activities that would jeopardize its tax-exempt status and is not aware of any activities that are subject to tax on unrelated business income. As of December 31, 2013, The Organization believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken, and as such, has no uncertain tax positions that qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. Upon dissolution, there is no distribution of assets to members. The members do not pay any membership dues. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b The members of the organization have the right to vote on members elected to the governing body and significant decisions regarding changes to organizing documents (i.e. articles of incorporation and bylaws). Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The Executive Director and Treasurer reviews the 990 prior to filing by doing the following: reviewing the yes/no answers given on the 990 form for accuracy, cross referencing the financial numbers to the audited financial statements, and corroborating other information given on the form based on first-hand knowledge of the organization. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Each board member and key employee is given a copy of the policy as a part of their start up package. On an annual basis major business relationships are reviewed for any possible conflicts of interest transactions. Any board member with a conflict of interest with respect to the compensation in question is not allowed to participate in the deliberations.
