Form 990, Part VI, Line 15a The Board of Directors reviews the Executive Directors performance and compensation on an annual basis. Form 990, Part III, Line 4a Our Emergency Shelter program mobilizes over 1000 volunteers at 99 congregations. 27 host congregations provide shelter sites and meals, and 72 support congregations work with the host congregations to provide volunteers, meals and supplies. This combination of a host and its supporting congregations is called a network. We currently run two networks each week, allowing us to serve up to 8 families a week. The Day Center is the families home base for taking care of personal needs and working with our Shelter Case Manager. Together, they create a case plan to find stable housing employment. The case plan increases the likelihood of successful housing retention. Form 990, Part III, Line 4a continued In February 2012, IHNGC secured a HUD grant through the Hamilton County City of Cincinnati Continuum of Care to create a Permanent Supportive Housing Program. This program targets chronically homeless families those families with repeated stays in homelessness and a member with a disabling condition. This program pays for rental assistance in scattered site units provides intensive, in-home case management to permanently stabilize the most vulnerable families. In 2013, this program served 28 families comprised of 121 individuals 97 of whom maintained that housing.
