Homes were assessed by experts who determined the repairs needed and the costs. The homes were repaired under the direction and supervision of staff. In October 2013, the organization repaired approximately 25 homes on foundations and 6 mobile homes or trailers. 146137 38886 After School Program: This program served approximately 20 children after school by providing snacks, homework assistance, sports, music, computers and arts/crafts. The program operates through the school year, Monday thru Friday for about 4 hours a day.Summer Enrichment Program: This program served between 45-50 children during a seven week summer program. Participants gathered Monday - Friday, from 8am-5pm. The morning program consisted of academics, especially science and math as well as reading. The afternoon program consisted of arts/crafts, swimming, library, and various sports. The day includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. 40060 Food Program: The food program offered non-perishable groceries toapproximately 160 families and individuals on the last Friday of each month. The program also provides meals five days a week to seniors in a congregate setting as well as meals on wheels. Approximately 60 meals a day are served.Sports Program: The sports program offered Saturday sports for 130 children ages 6 through 14 for 8-week periods throughout the year. Basketball was offered winter/spring and flag football in the fall. In addition to Saturday sports the program offers swimming lessonos in the summer and Karate in the winter and fall.VITA Site: The organization offers a free income tax site each year beginning in January thru April 15th in collaboration with the United Way. Part XII Line 2c-Process of Committe Oversight of the Reviewed Fin Stmts: The auditor meets with the Board of Directors making a full presentation at the completion of the review answering any of the Board of Director's questions. The auditor works closely with the Board of Directors during the year should any concerns arise.
