This effort involves ELV staff providing technical assistance, business planning, and resource development. ELV is currently serving the Denver Metro Area, Summit County, Garfield County, Eagle County, Pitkin County, Mesa County, Telluride and surrounding counties, and the San Luis Valley. 712078 Healthy Options for Preschoolers: ELV is promoting and expanding access to healthy meals and snacks for preschool aged children who are enrolled in a child care program that is part of the ELV Alliance. Through its partnership with the Colorado Health Foundation, ELV plans to increase the number of children who eat adequate amounts of fruits and vegetables daily and increase the number of children who receive healthy meals in the center and home-base child care settings. During the three-year pilot phase, healthy meals and snacks will be provided to more than 3,500 children. 100882 ELV created a customized web-based information management system for the Early Learning Ventures Alliance model.
