Upon completion of the museum construction, the Organization will hold its collections for public exhibition, education, and research rather than for financial gain. It protects, cares for, preserves, and keeps its collections unencumbered, subject to a policy that requires proceeds from sales of these items to be used to purchase additional collection items. However, there are no additional formal committees with standing members or official meetings. Upon Museum Administrator's approval, it is forwarded to the Board of Trustees, or an approved representative of the Board of Trustees, to review the Form 990 prior to submission. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Each trustee and officer is required to review a copy of the conflict of interest policy, which requires each person to disclose any relationships, positions or circumstances in which he or she believes could contribute to a conflict. Following full disclosure of a possible conflict of interest, the Board of Trustees shall determine whether a conflict of interest exists and, if so the Board shall vote to authorize or reject the transaction or take any other action deemed necessary to address the conflict and protect the Museum's best interests.
