The education and training programs involve partnering with affiliate childcare centers and other community groups. We help affiliate centers learn the key ingredients for quality early childhood education by providing training for directors and teachers, supplying quality learning tools and materials, and involving parents and families in their child's education. 0 0 1596922 19010 14154 EFS provided training, weekly on-site mentoring and consulting, scholarships toward courses in child development and education, books, supplies, field trips, computers and playground equipment, enrichment programs in art, music, math, and science, and targeted financial assistance to improve programs and facilities for 100 affiliated childcare centers, serving 5,906 children, 883 teachers, and 99 center directors.
