This is our first year to file a 990. We have just received approval from IRS as a 501C3. I tried to electronically file an extension but it was refused. I did then send in an paper extension. This return was attempted to efile on 11/2/25 and 11/16/25 I contacted IRS on 11/14/2025. They said they would work at getting Litchfield County 4H Foundation updated in their computer so it could be eFiled. I received a telephone call from IRS on Dec. 16 2025 saying that it is now updated in the system and I should efile the return.
