Visits to all of these tools increased this year, even while a large portion of RBFF resources were devoted to developing a new Spanish-language campaign and microsite, VamosaPescar.org. Featuring responsive design that intuitively scales to desktop, tablet and mobile devices, Vamos a Pescar was readied to launch in FY 2015. Also in FY 2014, the popular embeddable Places to Boat & Fish Map was enhanced with responsive, scalable design, Spanish-language features, and markers identifying fly-fishing spots and retailer locations. Enhancements to TakeMeFishing.org included new content such as fishing reports and stocking reports, the addition of instructional how-to videos, and other educational content, all developed using search engine optimization (SEO) best practices. Back-end improvements implemented on the site also reduced the time and cost of connecting with consumers. As part of RBFF's strategic alliance with the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Media Networks, Take Me Fishing is sponsoring catch-and-release fishing and boating experiences for young families with children visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. 1968862 State Engagement: State marketing programs, targeting lapsed anglers and boaters, brought states millions of dollars in revenue. In its sixth year, RBFF's State Fishing License Marketing Program generated more than $4.64 million from more than 229,000 licenses. Forty states participated. Twenty-one states participated in the State Boat Registration Marketing Program, in its second year. The program generated nearly $1.68 million from 48,000 boat re-registrations. RBFF's seventh annual State Marketing Workshop, held in Phoenix, Arizona, included presentations on improving the customer experience, retaining first-time anglers and effective email communications. Customer engagement was a special focus of the workshop, which looked at communication strategies for increasing participation and keeping new anglers and boaters involved.
