The Museum provides unique in-house educational programs for students from 64 of the 75 Arkansas counties. Some of the 25 topics offered include heart dissections, electricity, chemistry, physics, tinkering, animal classifications, and many more. All programs are aligned with the Arkansas Curriculum Frameworks for Science and the Common Core State Standards for literacy and math. In 2013, the Museum served over 13,000 students in counties across the state with educations programs such as Arkansas Animals, Awesome Science, and Cool Caves. The Network is a consortium of six museums, which are located across the state of Arkansas and are dedicated to serving children and their families, especially in rural areas with high quality educational exhibits, programming and professional development. By participating in the Network, the partner museums are strengthened to better serve their communities through professional development and collaboration with peers.Since its inception in 2006, the Network has served more than 2 million Arkansans with exhibits such as Mystery of the Mayan Medallion, Science and Art, Dinosaur Discoveries, Design Zone, and a mobile museum, the Race for Planet 'X'.
