The HMIS is a web-based client and services database for 139 homeless housing and services programs involving over $24 million in federal, state and locally funded programs provided by 38 nonprofit and governmental agencies. The HMIS is used for data collection, grants management, data analysis, program monitoring and performance reporting to funders and the community. The TCHC Board of Directors no longer serves simultaneously as the Continuum of Care Board for the Fort Worth/Arlington/Tarrant County CoC TX601 as recognized by HUD. These duties are now transferred to the TX601 Continuum of Care Board of Directors.Key changes to the TCHC bylaws involved removing from eligibility to serve on the TCHC board any agency or representative of an agency that is a recipient, sub recipient or applicant of any McKinney Vento funds. Additionally, established committees including the Community Projects Review Committee and the HMIS Governance Committee were removed and transferred to the Continuum of Care Board of Directors.
