In 2014 the second cohort completed the curriculum phase and the third cohort was recruited and began the process. The 15 month long program begins with selection in August, starting in September and concluding with commencement in November of each year. The Omidyar Fellows followed a curriculum and program that developed transformative leadership on individual, group and community levels, using program elements that include executive coaching, peer and cohort learning, leadership conversations and an out-of-state learning excursion. The policy outlines a process by which Hawaii Leadership Forum evaluates and protects against undue influence by any person who may have a conflict of interest as well as outlines a process if there is a potential violation.
