TFDP successfully settled the case in 2014 and received $16,667 in attorneys fees and costs pursuant to the settement.Vanessa Cameron v. State, PD-1427-13TFDP filed an amicus brief on behalf of Vanessa Cameron in this case. Ms. Cameron appealed her conviction based on the fact that the public was excluded from voir dire. TFDP filed a brief supporting Ms. Cameron's argument that excluding the public from voir dire created a closed court and violated Ms. Cameron's constitutional right to a public trial.
