These documents are also accessible by the public on the NYS Charities website, www.charitiesnys.org, either separately posted or as exhibits supporting the form 1023 Application for Recognition of Exemption. Form 990, Part IX, Line 5 and 7 The Organization reports compensation of officers, directors and other employees. Those people who have the characteristics of employees are treated as such. However, these individuals are actually employees of Time Equities, Inc., a corporation affiliated to the Organization through one of the Organizations Directors. Time Equities, Inc. pays the individuals and payroll taxes and files all of the required payroll tax returns. The Organization reimburses Time Equities, Inc. for the actual cost of salaries and related payroll taxes. Time Equities, Inc. does not make any profit on these reimbursements. The Organization, through the use of this arrangement, saves the administrative costs of maintaining a payroll system and filing the related payroll taxes.
