NTHEA implemented this statement in its 2014 fiscal year (tax year 2013). As such, NTHEA made a prior period adjustment of ($7,867,515) to write off the balance of its unamortized bond issue costs which decreased the beginning of year fund balance on its 2014 financial statements (tax year 2013).
