Machine Project provides direct support to artists whose work inspires audiences to imagine new ways of engaging art, culture, science, and community. Machine Project transforms and repurposes our storefront gallery and other public spaces for creative use and civic discourse. The overall attendance for onsite programming was approximately 2,500. 132967 99330 OFFSITE PROGRAMMING: Our offsite special projects included: a multi-week activation of Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles in partnership with the Music Center, a multi-week activation at the Gamble House in Pasadena, and a one-night activation at the Central Library in Downtown Los Angeles. The overall attendance for our offsite programming was approximately 8,500. During this fiscal year, Machine worked with over 75 artists. Machine Project is a certified member of W.A.G.E. and pays artists according to the fair labor standards set by W.A.G.E. 29131 ARCHIVAL DOCUMENTATION PROGRAM: Reflecting our increasing interest in archiving and documentation, Machine produced over 50 high-quality micro-documentaries about our various projects in addition to multiple interviews with collaborating artists surrounding their work.
