The RE Store program at the Bellingham location continues to operate without interruption. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b The Executive Director brings organizational financial statements and IRS Form 990 filings to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors. In the case of the 990, The Finance Committee is provided at least 1 week to review the completed but draft form before the filing deadline. The committee approves the completed form. The full board receives a copy of the format the next board meeting after filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The executive director's salary is set by the board of directors. The executive committee of the board is responsible for recommending salary levels on a periodic basis. The salary is based on an analysis of pay rates for comparable positions within the region and an assessment of organizational financial status. The executive committee brings its recommendations for a pay range to the full board, which must approve changes to the pay range before before implementation. The executive director receives the same non-monetary benefits package as all other organizational employees.
