Upon review and approval, 990 is transmitted. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c All officers are required to assure on an annual basis that there are no conflict of interests to report. Officers are also reminded that any conflict of interests must be reported immediately and no later than 10 days of such occurrence which is reported to Board members to review, discuss, and approve or disapprove. If conflict, Board member would required to resign. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Board meets annually to discuss, update, and approve salary for Director. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Flyers are posted in Facility lobby on Board for announcements. Also, during each orientation for Foster Parents they are informed of their right and the process. Form 990, Part IX, Line 24e Foster Parents are reimbursed for their expenditures for housing, food, clothing, and general expenditures for the support of the Foster Children assigned to their care. A Social Workers is assigned to each family and makes regular home visits to ensure that monies are used appropriately. Each Foster Parent is required to turn in a monthly expenditure report identifying what monies they have spent for the Foster Child. The monies that Our Children's Keeper provides to the Foster Parent is a reimbursement of those expenditures. For the calendar year 2014 there were 15 Foster Parents that received reimbursements. Monies received and distributed are not grant funds but a reimbursement to the Foster Families. Other expenses are for the general maintenance and ongoing office expenditures for Mueed.
