The four program aspects work together to support survivors of sexual violence in a holistic manner that equips them to lead healthy, self-sufficient adult lives. Emerge Lanka Foundation must have its finances audited by an outside party once a year and must maintain an outside accountant. All financial files, including the audit, are shared with Emerge Global. Additionally, Emerge Lanka Foundation staff are available for regular phone meetings with Emerge Global president and director, Alia Whitney-Johnson. Alia visits work in Sri Lanka every 1-2 years to check on how programs are progressing in person.
