Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Leadership Transformations' (LT) board requires an annual disclosure of conflicts of interest. In addition to this, the finance team monitors all transactions for potential conflicts, and brings any potential conflicts to the President's or board's attention. If a conflict is identified, the independent board votes on whether the transaction is in the best interest of LT, while the person with a conflict recuses his or her self from the decision making process. All members of the compensation committee are independent in nature. In determining appropriate compensation packages, the compensation committee references salaries of similar executive positions at other non-profit organizations in the area.
