In 2014, we continued to work in Haiti and shift more focus to the Dominican Republic. We provided school supplies, food, tutoring, and educational opportunities for 150 children though an after-school program in The Dominican Republic. We also began teaching women in the community to sew as a means to provide for their families. In Haiti, we continued to work with the One Vision Childrens Home to provide for 71 orphans. We provided food, clothing, shelter, and medication through our child sponsorship program. One Vision sent assistance by leading 11 trips to the Dominican Republic and 4 trips to Haiti with over 200 trip participants traveling in total.
