In all, CHATs tutoring program served an average of 102 youth using 67 volunteers every Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday life skills classes served and average of 70 youth using 42 volunteers. During the summer, CHAT hosted 26 interns, living in the community and assisting with the summer day camps serving approximately 100 youth. 16 student leaders were selected for leadership positions over the summer, serving in CHATs summer camps and as entrepreneurs working with woodworking, screen printing and urban farming agtricultural businesses. 370719 Church Hill Academy - The Academy provided 31 high-school students with an individualized and holistic private Christian education during the 2013-2014 school year. The Academy held its fourth graduation ceremony for ten of its students in June 2014. Over 400 people attended the ceremony to celebrate the achievements and futures of these youth. Graduates are have gone on to pursue work and further education at institutions including Longwood University, Richard Bland College and J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. 89458 Tiny Tykes is a preschool program committed to fostering a love of learning through a gospel-centered, creative, community-focused education.
