Presently we are conducting approximately 8-10 medical missions each year and sees 300-900 patients at each medical mission (depending whether it is one, two or three day medical mission). The people treated have no other medical care available to them. Our services are free. Each medical mission includes 2-4 doctors, 2-4 nurses, 2-4 pharmacist technicians, and sometime a pharmacist and eye doctor. Our largest expenditure in our Medical Outreach in 2014 was the purchase of a 4 wheel drive Mobile Medical Vehicle so we could deeper into more rural areas. Our Missions Program also includes our Bibles for Pastors program. Each year we purchase a leather-bound comprehensive Study Bible for each new ordained pastor in the region (usually between 150-200). The bible will sometimes be the only bible in the village where the pastor is assigned (sometimes it may be the only book of any kind). Our Missions Program also includes Church Plants. To date we have planted 126 churches. In 2014, we planted one church at a cost of approximately $6,558. The churches are established in a way to insure they are needed and acceptable to the intended community and can be self-sufficient in a short time frame. 52903 10779 0 Vision Africa has built and supports a 50,000 Watt FM radio station that broadcast 24/7 to a population of 20 million people. The programs include community and public service programming, medical advice, education programing, leadership training programing, religious programing and music.
