Food for Orphans supplies funds for the purchase of food for orphans around the world and ships nutritious meals for feeding orphans. Food for Orphans visits orphan homes and evaluates orphan projects, providing training and advice to care providers. Food for Orphans engages donors by educating them on the plight of orphans while providing ways for them to help financially as well as hands on by helping to organize missions trips that visit the projects supported, and food packing events where donors and volunteers meet to pack food to send to the projects supported. The unavailability of CPA to file tax return in a timely fashion caused this form to be filed late. Two extensions from the IRS were requested. The first was approved; the second request was mailed on July 23, 2015. As of today, September 13, 2015 we have not received approval of this second request.
