Specifically, Hayrenaser's mission and purpose are to provide aid and assistance to Armenia and its population by educating the general public about the country and its assistance needs, coordinating various programs and providing aid. A grant in the amount of $52,886 was issued to fund the reconstruction of 1 rural public school in Armenia, which served the entire population of the village of Lernahovit. This fulfilled Hayrenaser's goal of providing relief aid and assistance in the form of renovations or construction of specific, individual public infrastructure buildings (e.g. schools, rural medical centers/hospitals, kindergartens, etc) in the rural areas of Armenia, which are affected by either a lack of existing community resources or a lack of funding and supplies to existing public infrastructure.
