General Membership Meetings - These meetings were held for the purpose of operating the organization, sharing information with members, sharing information with other members of the flight test community and various federal regulatory and agencies and the general education of member representatives. 4083 Legal council/research activities - Counsel and research aimed at FCC rule-making proceedings and legislative actions involving the protection and preservation of radio spectrum used for flight testing; counsel for consultations held with Department of State, Department of Commerce, Department of Defense and the NTIA. The advice and guidance of counsel is available to the entire membership on matters of mutual concern. These activities benefited the membership, the flight test community, manufacturers of aircraft and their major components and the aviation industry. 87414 Frequency coordination activities were under taken on behalf of many manufacturers of aircraft and their major components. Coordinations were performed for all qualified applicants (qualifications set by the Federal Communications Commission). The applicants, government flight test ranges and the aviation community all benefited.
