Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The Board of Directors, Key Employees and Department Heads are required to complete a Form 990 questionnaire concerning their relationship to the cooperative, including but not limited to inquiries concerning family relations, compensations if any, and business related to the cooperative. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The CEO's compensation is deliberated and approved by the Board of Directors, in conjunction with the Cooperative's legal counsel. Department heads and other salaried positions' compensation levels are determined by an independent study, taking into account several factors of performance which positively affect the interests of the Cooperative: job knowledge, leadership, organizational impact, work complexity, and communication skills. The study uses comparable data from other electric cooperatives, and was last completed in 2013. The CEO's compensation was last reviewed in 2014. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 All Board policies and financial statements are available for public review upon request. Additionally, the schedule of board meetings is published in a monthly newsletter sent to all members; a general call to the public is announced at each monthly board meeting, and at the annual meeting. A summary of the year end financial statements is published annually in the newsletter.
