<DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>AB 4 - Provided timely non-partisan updates to CNC supporters via e-mail and social media. AB 4, also known as the TRUST Act creates a statewide standard for how local law enforcement agencies comply with the Federal Programs such as the Secure Communities program which required all law enforcement agencies to check the immigration status of any person arrested in California. The Secure Communities Program ended November 2014 and was replaced with Prioritized Enforcement Program, AB 4 was signed into law in October 2013 and began to be implemented on January 1, 2014. AB 60 - Provided timely non-partisan updates to CNC supporters via e-mail and social media regarding the implementation of AB 60 . AB 60 was signed into law in October 2013 and began to be implemented on January 1, 2015. AB 60 requires the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to issue a driver's license to undocumented persons who can provide identity and California residency and meet all licensing requirements, such as passing the written and behind the wheel driving exams. SB 4 (Lara) Provided timely non-partisan updates to CNC supporters via e-mail and social media. This bill would declare the intent of the Legislature all Californians, regardless of immigration status, have access to affordable health coverage and care. Existing law creates the California Health Benefit Exchange for the purpose of facilitating the enrollment of qualified individuals and small employers in qualified health care plans. Existing law also provides for the Medi-Cal program, under which qualified low-income individuals receive health care services. CNC is committed to making sure all Californians have affordable and quality health coverageSub-Contract - Yes on Proposition 47: Implemented non-partisan get out the vote programs in Fresno, and Eastern Coachella Valley via live phone calls and volunteer door-to-door canvassing. Proposition 47 mandates misdemeanors instead of felonies for non-serious, nonviolent crimes, unless the defendant has prior convictions for murder, rape, certain sex offenses or certain gun crimes. Proposition 47 also reduces the barriers that many people with a low-level, non-violent felony conviction face to becoming stable and productive citizens, such as a lack of employment, housing and access to assistance programs and professional trades. Proposition 47 reduced the punishment for many crimes from an excessive punishment to a punishment that's more in line with what the crime is. Proposition 47 was supported by law enforcement leaders, crime victims, teachers, rehabilitation experts, business leaders, faith-based leaders and civil rights organizations. The ballot measure was passed by California voters in November 2014.</DescriptionProgramSrvcAccomTxt>
