To help various conservation organizations and the state achieve this goal, GMC offers a land trust, ongoing studies of wildlife needs on the landscape, monitoring of conserved areas as well as advocacy for better conservation laws in the state and an increased awareness of the need for more mature old growth forests. Through our projects we will help maintain sustainable populations of bear, moose and bobcat in our area.
