Powerful Choices was offered at two Seattle Public Schools middle schools, in the community and in partnership with Atlantic Street Center in 2015, reaching 71 youth. 104042 Youth Employment Program - Provides girls with pre-employment, career building and other 21st century skills. Three cohorts of girls participated in a group employment program that includes individual goal setting and performance evaluation sessions. The first cohort is Develop Your Voice and Speak (DYVAS), where young women are employed to produce an alternate form of media to educate the community about social justice issues. The second cohort is ActiveVistas, where young women are employed to develop and present workshops at the Girlvolution Conference. The third cohort focused on developing job readiness skills through activities such as a career panel and mock interviews.
