OPA has also established a network of community organizations that it partners with in order to bring both new and established audiences to the arts. Collaborations have taken place with the Omaha Symphony, Opera Omaha, Omaha Public Schools, Girls Rock, Salem Baptist Church, University of Nebraska Omaha - Jazz Studies program, Omaha Community Playhouse, Ballet Nebraska, Hear Nebraska, Film Streams, and others. Beginning in 2014, Omaha Performing Arts implemented the Nebraska High School Theatre Awards, a program which celebrates the artistic achievements of local high schools, students and teachers involved in musical theatre, supports high schools by providing high-quality learning experiences for students, and advocates for the importance of high school theatre education.
