Our Intensive Treatment Foster Care (ITFC) program places special-needs children in foster care homes with trauma-oriented foster parents and therapists. Our bilingual/multicultural clinical staff is extensively trained to provide a range of coordinated mental healht interventions - case management; individaul, family and group therapy; school-based services adn in-home counseling; therapeutic behavioral services; psychiatric assessments and medication support. Our mental health expertise includes utilizing evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, and LGBTQ cultural competency. Total children served in FY14/15 were 772. 1004321 Wraparound is a femily-centered, strengths-based, needs driven program. Wraparound supports family voice, choice and ownership of strategies to return or maintain children in their activities and opportunities. By connecting families to services, supports and opportunities, we build families' protective factors and functional life skills which achieve longer-term outcomes of permanency, resiliency, and strengthend families. Our Wraparound Program team adheres to the Shared Core Practice Model - overseeing nearly 50 cases each year as they move from engagement to graduation. Total families served in FY14/15 were 171. 147099 Domestic Violence - provides counseling to hundreds of domestic violence clients on both individual and group levels. Our programs for domestic violence prevention focuses on family dynamics, power and control, communication and problem solving skills, anger management techniques, and substance abuse related issues. Several different classes are offered throughout the week in both Spanish and English. The classes are court approved, provide free intake and quarterly court updates, economical (sliding fess scale for those that qualify), and are LGBTQ affirming. In FY14/15, 417 individuals attended classes. 343106 Drop-In Center for At-Risk and Homeless Youth - We provide safe and affirming supportive services to homeless youth including showers, laundry, counseling, health and wellness activities, as well as resources and referrals. Services were provided to 926 youth in FY14/15. 56040 Housing Program for At-Risk and Homeless Youth - We provide crisis housing and transtitional housing with locations in Van Nuys and North Hollywood, CA. Street Outreach Program - provides outreach and engagement to at-risk and homeless youth. The Street Outreach Program focuses on developing relationships between outreach workers and young people in the San Fernando Valley that will allow them to rebuild connections with caring adults. 50641 Adoption Program - We specialize in placing the child with resource parents who have been extensively trained and certified, and we offer follow-up treatment to promote stability.
