Campers develop independence and learn new skills. CAMP served 865 children and adults with medical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities including: Autism, Intellectual Disability, Pervasive Development Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystropy, and other life threatening or developmental disabilities. CAMP had over 695 volunteers who gave over 206,511 hours of service during the summer of 2015. 177493 74932 School-year programs consist of 9 monthly weekend camps designed much like the summer camp program; 9 monthly parent's night out events that offer fun and safe enrichment activities for children with special needs and their siblings while thier parents receive respite from the child care responsibilities; 9 monthly teen and adult outings that offer individuals with special needs the ability to socialize and enjoy age appropriate recreation at sporting events, amusement parks, museums, and festivals. And lastly, unique family retreat weekends for 12 to 14 families on the same weekend, each with a special needs family member.
