Upon completion of the museum construction, the Organization will hold its collections for public exhibition, education, and research rather than for financial gain. It protects, cares for, preserves, and keeps its collections unencumbered, subject to a policy that requires proceeds from sales of these items to be used to purchase additional collection items. Hall of Fame Celebration Weekend 80535 66493 14042 14042 80535 66493 14042 14042 14042 0 Form 990, Part III, line 2 The Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame is collaborating with Skydventure iFLY to collaborate the Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame with a 16-foot iFLY wind tunnel in North Orlando, Florida. The museum is currently working with a leading design firm to combine building space and functions and iFLY is actively searching for a suitable piece of property as a venue for the combined facility. The name on the building will be "Skydive Experience." The museum will not be a traditional static museum... there will be displays featuring the evolution of gear over the years but even that will have an interactive component. Most displays will be interactive and many will immerse visitors in a dynamic skydiving experience through virtual reality simulators and other high-tech wizardry. The heroes of the sport, who have been inducted into the museum's Hall of Fame, will be touted through a touch screen technology exhibit. Conceptually, the goal is to make the museum an entertaining and enjoyable experience as well as an informative one. The museum also plans to open its doors to outside groups for educational experiences and after-hours receptions. However, there are no additional formal committees with standing members or official meetings. Upon Museum Administrator's approval, it is forwarded to the Board of Trustees, or an approved representative of the Board of Trustees, to review the Form 990 prior to submission. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Each trustee and officer is required to review a copy of the conflict of interest policy, which requires each person to disclose any relationships, positions or circumstances in which he or she believes could contribute to a conflict.
