Our programming focuses on K-12 youth, adult and elder life-long learning, audience enrichment, and underserved audiences. We offer high-quality visual arts workshops to children, teens, adults, and veterans, as well as a professional artist-mentoring program. Our literary arts programming includes creative writing workshops for adults, a book group, a literary magazine, as well as writing workshops for teens living in or served by disability and at-risk intervention services. Additionally, we offer art therapy alternatives such as Studio E (for children and adults living with epilepsy), and sessions for female survivors of sexual assault. Finally, we facilitate site-specific, structured artist residencies for special education students and adults who live with a wide variety of cognitive and age-related disabilities.Specific accomplishments in 2015 include:Hosted four exhibitions that comprehensively explored topics that affect our constituents. Exhibits were coordinated with partner organizations, book group literature, workshops, and/or lectures.Images Honoring the Night Side of Life, by Heal Courageously; included a literary salon.Breast Cancer Quilts Quilts made by Judy Elsley; included a lecture.
