The classroom program is a partnership program. We work within existing classrooms at the high school level to introduce Marketing and advertising to 16-18 year olds. We bring the industry into the classroom through hands on curriculum and industry volunteers and then bring classrooms out to the industry through field trips. The internship program provides opportunity for students who are serious about the career path, a chance to work in an agency or marketing department of a corporation. 50 interns worked in 22 different businesses the summer of 2015. In our third program, Connect, we work to train and inspire students for the marketing industry. All scholarship awards are recorded and tracked in the accounting software, and in a separate ledger. When an award is made, funds are released from the restricted account. Funds are transferred to the student when the student has met all conditions of receiving the funds. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a Nomination and election follows standard board rules. The board must consist of no less than 4, and no more than 20 individuals.
