The Council's accounting policy is to provide liabilities for uncertain income tax provisions when a liability is probable and estimable. The Council has no uncertain income tax positions for the years ended September 30, 2015 and 2014. The Council is no longer subject to audit for Federal and state purposes for periods prior to fiscal 2012. Management is not aware of any violation of its tax status as an organization exempt from income taxes. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11 The Form 990 is prepared by the accountants and is reviewed by management. The return is made available to all Board members prior to filing. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 The Board of Directors employ the Executive Director. The Executive Director is given an annual performance evaluation. Compensation and benefits are at a level that is competitive with similar organizations. There are no other key employees. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, line 19 The Form 990 is posted on Guidestar.
