<ExplanationTxt>PART III STATEMANT OF PROGRAM SERVICES ACCOMPLISHMENTS; LINE 28: Paws for Seniors is an all volunteer foster based animal rescue organization that rescues homeless cats and dogs, addresses their medical and psychological needs and rehomes them to qualified applicants. The animals we rescue are predominately senior cats and dogs ages 7 or older; we sometimes take in younger pets depending on the situation. Approximately 85% of the people that adopt from us are senior citizens. Senior pets are the hardest to find homes for and are usually overlooked in shelters. Our "Intake" process consists of addressing the pet's medical needs, most needing dental care, vaccinations, and other surgeries such as spay/neuter, bladder stone & mass removals, joint/knee repair, etc; we also run a blood analysis during intake.</ExplanationTxt>
