Fellowship Church held several outreach services at a local rented conference center, on Easter, then held two weekly Sun am home bible fellowships 2.*Monthly: The Church Planting Cohort led by John Worcester was where new GTA church planters were equipped/mentored and developed peer support relationships.3.*2015 Year: Interns Mentored and sent to start churches- The apprenticing of key men who were starting new churches or in the process of working toward planting a church. Daniel Funderburk, who apprenticed with us and was involved in every step of beginning Fellowship Church Meadowvale as well as reaching university students has been called by Fellowship Church to be the long term pastor. Several others also were mentored including Mehdi Tabkih, a Muslim background believer has begun Victory Fellowship. Dave Strobel who worked with Fellowship Church, has begun Journey Church in Mississauga.4.Partnerships with Church Planting minded churches and individuals were developed to both support the work financially as well as many sent mission teams and workers during 2013. Hope Church Fort Worth, Seabreeze Church, Huntington Beach, sent their youth pastor to Canada to be a church planter and work with us. Pleasant View Baptist, Carrolton,GA sent a team to help Journey Church as well as help interns Doug and Stephanie Jenkins move back to the USA. Challenge, San Diego, CA and Chico State Christian Challenge sent summer workers and a teamsto help plant Fellowship Church. Also Stonegate Church in Midland, Texas was the major supporter of the Fellowship Churchs start through Toronto Church Planting.Other individuals and churches such as Graystone Community in GA, Center Pointe Church in TX, Fellowship of the Parks, Lake Gregory Church, Mission Trails Church, Pathways Church in Santee, and Stonewater Church in Granbury TX, and Rock Hill Church in KS all supported CPL5.John Worcester developed the Good to Great Church Planting Training materials using the example and teachings of Jesus and Paul as the model of what church starters should see as important and significant in helping create the movement that resulted. John taught workshops at several Church planting conferences, Exponential East and West Coast and for the Ontario Baptist Association.6.Workers added to the CPL team: Joseph and Colleen Wo, university student workers to East Asia and Fellowship Church, Ontario, Canada CPL apprentice Daniel Funderburk, also raised ministry expense funds thru CPL. Brand new 2015 workers raising funds to work in East Asia with university students are Andy and Cassia Wo.
