CCGC's scope of service was to advise the executive director and representatives of the CMA in the development of a comprehensive strategy to address the CMA's needs at the South Carolina General Assembly. CCGC represented the CMA's interests before key government officials and legislative committees. Between January 1, 2015 and June 30, 2015, the CMA initiated mailings containing CMA publications to the legislative representatives, and also engaged volunteer board members and staff of the musuem to contact representatives in support of the musuem.
