The seventh in the series of successful cosponsored scientific conference of Pacific Basin Chemical Societies was held in Honolulu, Hawaii from December 15-20, 2015. The Congress was jointly sponsored by the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC), American Chemical Society (ACS), the Chemical Society of Japan (CSJ), the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry (NZIC), the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI), the Korean Chemical Society (KCS), and the Chinese Chemical Society (CCS). There were an additional 60 Official Participating Societies from 17 of the Pacific Rim countries involved in the conference. The theme of Pacifichem 2015 was, Networking Building Bridges across the Pacific. The meeting had over 15,000 attendees from 71 different countries and over 18,000 papers were submitted and presented in either oral or poster formats. Over 40 foreign travel grants were awarded to individuals from under-developed countries in the Pacific Rim under the Early Career Chemist Program. The student poster competition had over 300 sessions and awards were given to 54 winners.
