The Foundation seeks to link the generosity of American citizens, churches and philanthropy to increase the reach and impact of effective workers. 0 0 2268264 2137734 AMHF provides support for hospitals and medical clinics in the sub-saharan region of Africa. It provides grants to multiple hospitals in the region to help with medical supplies, equipment and infrastructure, and medical education. In 2016, AMHF made possible approximately 88,000 patient visits and 330 clubfoot corrections. It sponsored 40 scholarships in the health professions and trained 300 Kenyan health workers in HIV care. A C-arm operative x-ray machine and electronic medical record system were installed in Kenya and a solar power system procured for a clinic in Malawi.
