The Foundation has received a ruling of a favorable determination of its tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service and is not classified as a private foundation. Management believes that the Foundation continues to satisfy the requirements of a tax-exempt organization and is not subject to tax. Accordingly, no provision for income taxes has been reflected in the accompanying financial statements. Management has evaluated the effect of the Financial Accounting Standards Board ("FASB") guidance on accounting for uncertainty in income taxes.
