CHATs tutoring program served an average of 75 youth using 55 volunteers every Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday life skills classes served and average of 70 youth using 42 volunteers. The Academy held its sixth graduation ceremony for five of its students in June 2016. Over 200 people attended the ceremony to celebrate the achievements and futures of these youth. Graduates are have gone on to pursue work and further education at institutions including Longwood University, Richard Bland College, Virginia State University and J.
